DVD Review:
The DVD starts off with a 1992 music video sort of thing in really bad quality. The track bangs, I've never heard it before, I don't really know if it was made in 92 or not tho cuz Hi-C and KK are in the video and I didn't think Suga Free hooked up with the Quik camp til 96. Other than that, the DVD contains about 15-20 minutes of footage ripped DIRECTLY from Visual-ism and the videos for "If U Stay Ready" and "Gone (aka) On My Way" (which I had never seen before. There is also a little bit of behind the scenes of the "If U Stay Ready" video where you see Quik and Hi-C. There isn't any audio, it's just like someone was filming them socializing on the set. So, it was a cute little additon to the CD, but if you have Visual-ism the DVD is pretty much worthless besides the videos, but then again if you DON'T have Visual-ism then you should go cop that.

I just bought two, and I am just gettin back from the Wherehouse in Lakewood CA, where he was signin them. I met him and got his signature, he was real coo. It was a looooong ass line waitin for him. They did a bitch move tho and made it where u HAD to buy the CD from that wherehouse and get a wristband in order to get somethin signed, and he'd only sign one per person.
-
damn i wish i had a signed suga free copy :'(

Nah, it sounds kinda outdated to me.
-
I bought it yesterday at Best Buy for $16 and it had the DVD, haven't watched it yet. My favorite tracks are Thinkin, Don't Fight the Pimpin and that Morris Day song. Is it as good as Street Gospel? No, but it's still good.
-

"i didnt ask to be cool, cool asked to be suga free" that shit is dope

-
man, i totally hate the cover of this CD. Just sugafree's appearance will make me not wanna buy this CD. I mean, i'm not a fag or anything to listen to prettyboy rappers or anything, i like lots of ugly ass rappers like snoop dogg, JadaKiss, Jay-Z, or Biggie; but there's something in SugaFree that just makes me wanna smack the shit out of him
-
aw, shit. I just realized that it's his hair. What a fag to straighten his hair

-
im gonna buy it next week.....
-
Damn this album is growing on me quickly. I don't even fast forward any tracks on this. I've listened to it 4 times now and I like it each time more.
-
I just got my copy today, It's kinda knoccin...
I want to thank everybody that supports us and the album...Much love!
-
i realize that my comment was immature, but man, for real though, SugaFree is the ONLY rapper i ever disliked because of appearance. It just shows waht kind of person he is, and i don't like what i see. I don't like pimps, they're fucking assholes. WHY are they considered cool? with all that gay nail polish and perm and those puffy hats and purple suits? FUCK that shit man, talk about metrosexual
-
So that mean u dont like SnoopDogg SnoopGogg???
haha
-
aw, shit. I just realized that it's his hair. What a fag to straighten his hair
All the hating on you aside...I must agree,I don't know if it's the hair but Suga does look like a creep. Luckily, you don't have to watch him to enjoy his music!
-
"High Heels" is my favorite track on tha album. That beat is sick.
-
Damn, every song on this album is tight. Too bad cool isn't on the album but the rns rip has it. Thinkin' has to be my favorite track on this album. That's just trademark Quik right there. Damn I'm lovin this shit right now. A couple of the tracks have a cool retro electronica feel to it, the track with Big Saccs and DJ Koki and track 13, that one with the crazy voice box and that Egyptian Lover beat. That shit is dope as fuck. And you gotta love Get What You Paid for with Morris Day and that ill bass guitar. It may be a little soon but this may be the best west coast release since Streetz is a Mutha and Balance and Options. I'd give it a 4 to 4.5 mic rating right now leaning heavily towards 4.5 mics. Maybe I'll write a detailed review later.
-
anyone watch the dvd, that shit was hard. peep the first video on there from 92, royal rock aka suga free doin his first video at 19 yrs, the track was hard!! and the backstage footage of the if u stay ready video was cool too.
-
was SugaFree a pimp at 19? haha!!! man, i don't like snoop dogg anymore after he turned pimp either, but i got the nickname SnoopGogg about 6 years ago, so it's all good in da hood
