Yup...Jerry Buss is even offering him more money than any other team...It just wouldn't make sense for him to leave.

Why would he go to the Clippers & still have to share the city with Shaq? Kobe would still be #2, & he wants to be #1. Phoenix or Memphis

Ok this goes for tracy mcgrady and allen iverson too.
When there getting paid this much do you honestly think that theyll give that money up to leave? i highly doubt it. no one can pay kobe as much as la is paying him (unless that team destroys there team to come up with the money)
if it was me id stay with the money no matter what.

Well I would hope that true sportsmen are motivated by a lot more than just money. Mcgrady will probably leave Magic because he actually wants a shot at winning something in his career, same with Iverson if he ever leaves Philly. And maybe Kobe is fed up of being number 2 in LA and wants to move somewhere else to prove he can win a championship on his own without Shaq alongside him.

It Makes Perfect Sense For Kobe To Go To The Clippers, First off....The Money is so not a problem, clippers are well under the cap....secondly about the whole turning teams around and being the #1, this would be the team to do it with, its not like the clippers are horrible, they just got a bad rep and if kobe goes with them and they turn around he would get all the props for doin so, not that it would all be his fault, it just would seem that way

He hates being #2 to Shaq, besides Memphis has an advantage becuase of Jerry Wesy (Smartest amn in basketball), and so does Phoenix since they cleared all of that cap room this pass year so they could get Kobe.

LMAO.... What about 76ers his home town. With AI gone :'( they will need someone bad. Although I do not want he to leave the Lakeshow... Philly would be a great choice. :D

btw Kobe did state he wants to stay in LA even if he was not a Laker. That's what got the Clipper talk started.
