I just thought I'd do a quick post on the producers that are set to have tracks on the new 213 album, coming in June. The producer of the first single, "Dolla Dolla Bill" is Josef Leimberg, who also has another cut on there called "213 - The Gangsta Clique".
Then we got Battlecat with 3 cuts, Jellyroll has a song, of course Warren G did alot of songs (hopefully the majority), and also from what they've been saying The Neptunes, and maybe ?Timbaland?.
Hopefully, Fredwreck, Meech Weels or DJ Quik are gonna be heard on there, no word on that yet though, but we'll keep you posted.

i hope they can squeeze in a track by Scott Storch....seeing how Dre is nowhere to be found at least get someone who can sound like him eg: Storch.....or even better Mel Man but seeing how he hardly produces for nebody lately....or Red Spyda....he can make hot joints

This album is gone be fuckin SICK I cant wait for this shit....I have a feeling its gona sound like the first Eastsidaz album, maybe with a new twist.
-
I hope the album got 15-16 tracks or I dont know how they're gonna fit all that shit!
2 Josef Leimberg
3 BC
1 Jellyroll
Let's say:
1 'Tunes
1 Timbo
1 Quik
and we already got 9 tracks. Let's guess there'll be a couple mo producers:
1 Fredwreck
1 Extra producer (Scott Storch, Soopafly...whatever)
We have 11 tracks. I need a minimum of 5-6 Warren G cuts. So that'd make 17 tracks. Add an intro, an outro and a couple of interludes. That's 21 tracks.
PS.- Yeah, it's all speculation...but if people around here can say how wack 213 gon be I can surely talk about how many tracks will be on there.

Thanks for this Nima! I'm really looking forward to this album now. I hope Quik & Meech do some tracks, but Warren should have the most production.

No Storch, Dre, or Mel Man sucks.
-
why cant they have Warren produce every song or at least the majority? look at The Liks they have E-Swift produce 80% of the songs on every album and get 2 or 3 tracks by other producers
-
BC: Great
Leimberg: Cool
Jelly: No thanks
Let Warren get the rest.. Neptunes or Timba is gonna sound fucked, on this album..
Peace

Their are only two people who should have produced: 1)Warren G 2)DR Dre. Forget having a gang of non g funk producers

not to mention dre don't do g funk no more.......i'd rather have some funky fred wreck, or a g funk meech beat like "i got that fire", and jelly roll can make westcoast sounding tracks, he just trys to be creative and some people don't like it
oh yeah NIMA do you know if any of thea chills tacks that he produced for it will make it?
-
like I said Fuck Dr.Dre ....3 BC tracks is good for me
-
should be 3 BC tracks and all the rest by warren. but you know it ain't a real 213 album unless they get 8 different producers for it, cause everyone knows that warren couldn't hold it down himself ::)

U know, as a Warren G fan that I am I'd still like to see 80% of the album produced by G Dubb, but I've been thinking about it and, if Warren still has got bout 7 or 8 tracks on there, plus 3 BC, 1 Jelly, some Fred....shit, I can do with a Neptunes track. I mean, sure it will be the worst track on the cd for us westcoast lovers, but it could move HUGE units, while we would just have to push tha skip button, nahmean?
