Well, anyone watch the game? Anyone saw the leaf guy hit the colorado dude in the head with a stick. I don't see how he didn't mean to do that becuase i play hockey, it was possible for the guy not to hit him int he end.
The result wasn't a broken neck. But it could've been a lot worse. Now how long will the league suspend this guy...or will their be another east-coast bias calling?
Frenchie, what did you think about the hit? Please tell me.

Yeah I was at that game and Belak definitely meant to hit him... it looked pretty bad so I would say he's gonna get at least 3-5 games maybe the rest of the season
and the leafs definitely kicked some ass and showed Colorado what's up 8)

He should get the rest of the season for not keeping better control of his stick. However its not worst than Bertuzzi becuase it wasn't premeditated, he wasn't trying to hurt him, and after the stick hit the Colorado player, Belax wasn't trying to hit him again like Bertuzzi was going to do to Moore.
Even though I'm from Toronto, the last thing I want to do is defend a guy from the Leafs, because there's no team I hate more than the Toronto Maple Leafs, but the Belax thing wasn't as bad as Bertuzzi.

He should get the rest of the season for not keeping better control of his stick. However its not worst than Bertuzzi becuase it wasn't premeditated, he wasn't trying to hurt him, and after the stick hit the Colorado player, Belax wasn't trying to hit him again like Bertuzzi was going to do to Moore.
Even though I'm from Toronto, the last thing I want to do is defend a guy from the Leafs, because there's no team I hate more than the Toronto Maple Leafs, but the Belax thing wasn't as bad as Bertuzzi.
Dibbler, man, how can you hate the leafs THAT much and be from T.O? show some love homie... you didn't like when Toronto beat PHILLY ;) a few games back? or that they won a BIG game against Colorado on saturday?. Yo why do you hate them so much? im curious...

Belax was suspended for 8 games, the 6 remaining and 2 playoff games.

True, I feel you on the fact they charge way to much for tickets and what not... but I like the teams for the players, and they don't control the price... it's the owners...

how do you know he didn't intend of hurting him?? Well, if the colorado player was really hurt (like a concusion or something even worse). THe punishment would be harsher (this is what is wrong with the NHL). I agree'd with the league suspending NHL for bertuzzi for the rest of the season..maybe 20-25 games i'd be happy. But the whole playoffs? That was harsh. If moore didn't break his neck, bertuzzi would've got 10-15 games.

Bertuzzi got the entire season including the playoffs because he's stupid. He said he was going to take out Moore for giving Nasuland a legal hit, and then did. That's just stupid. This wasn't the first time Bertuzzi has been suspended though, he's very use to getting suspended and for Brain Burke to say Bertuzzi doesn't have a history of this kind of stuff is once again stupid.
