ATLANTA, March 22 /PRNewswire/ -- Sony Pictures Mobile has unleashed the newest addition to its slate of mobile games for 2004, "Snoop Dogg Boxing." The classic arcade style boxing game features the king of hip-hop, Snoop Dogg as the main opponent and also includes his classic anthem hit "Who Am I (What's My Name)?" as the game soundtrack. Available in late April across a wide variety of carriers, all "playas" will be able to download "Snoop Dogg Boxing" on major JAVA and BREW(TM) handsets.
"Dogs from the east coast to west coast can play my new mobile boxing game and face a crew with mad fighting skills," said Snoop Dogg. "Round for round, this game paid the cost to be the boss of all mobile games."
"Snoop Dogg Boxing" positions players against a posse of bad boys, each with special moves to bust you up. Players enter the ring without street credibility, fight their way up the ranks, earning special punching combos along the way and eventually face the king of the ring, Snoop Dogg, at the final level of the game.
"We set out to create the freshest entertainment sports game around and 'Snoop Dogg Boxing' is a knockout," said Rio Caraeff, vice president of wireless services for Sony Pictures Digital Networks. "Working with Snoop to combine his likeness and music into the boxing game makes this the most unique title available on mobile phones."
