But how can he put out a CD that doesnt even have anything he made on it- and make money? I could understand a mixtape but its not a mixtape..

Im just confused.

Post by: SGV on March 27, 2004, 06:32:22 PM: They're Compilations. Think of then as Mixtapes, but on a more national scale. Instead of getting them at a Bodega or off some cat on the street, you get them at major stores.

Plenty of DJ's have had albums. DJ Clue, DJ Rhettmatic etc.

Compilations used to be the West Coast mixtape before we started making mixtapes.

I don't like Gayslay,DJ Clueless because they yell too fuckin much!

Kay Slay doesn't yell on his retail compilations.
