Title: DJ Quik, Suga Free, Hi C album, "felonz"...wish it dropped
Post by: Cordy on March 28, 2004, 07:45:16 AM
NEW SECTION & MORE
Reported by: Mr. Loc

Okay the new section is now up, check out West Coast Spotlight. Basically what I will be doing in this section is highlighting a West Coast artist or group that I feel is getting slept on. At first it will start off with one feature a month but I may do more if you are feelin it. The first month's spotlight is on Chico & Coolwadda, peep it!

DJ Quik is planning an album called Felonz with Suga Free and Hi-C (aka Crawf Dog), and that is where that song of the same name will show up. That should be a bangin album. Thanks to Dimu for the news. In other Quik news, Mr. Blake recorded his last Way 2 Fonky radio show today to go back in the studio to work on some projects. He said he will be in the studio with Kurupt this week, and if the idea of that collabo doesn't make you say Dayumm I don't know what will

Oh I didn't know Hi-C was Crawf Dog. So that means he self-produced most of his album. He did some very dope beats indeed, Hi-Life is my fav of 2004 so far.

Aren't Craft Dawg and Hi-C two different people. I think Hi-C has a different alias

Is DJ Quik going to rhyme on this album or just produce? At any rate, this is good news. Will there be a corresponding tour?

Crawford is Hi-C's real name.

Im guessin this news is hella old. Probably around the time Kurupt was workin on "Space Boogie".
