Title: GAME AFTERMATH
Post by: DEATHROW100 on March 29, 2004, 07:22:22 AM
Would the GAME be as known and as good as a rapper if he wasnt with G-unit. I know we have more rapper out there, that is just as tight but is no where known like GAME.

Of course he wouldn't. If he wasn't rolling with Aftermath and G-Unit no one would care... but that doesn't mean he doesn't deserve his shot. You can't hate him for having the chance to shine.

Would he be as big?

Nah...

Would he be just as good though?

Of course, maybe better. I've heard several times that he was doper  back in the day before he was discovered by Dre.

PERSONALLY, LIKE YUKMOUTH SAID, IT'S ALL ABOUT WHO U ROLLIN WITH. GAME ROLLS WIHT G-UNIT. IF OTHERWISE, I DON'T THINK GAME WOULD GET ANY RECOGNITION. THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT I THINK. HOWEVER, HE MUST DO HAVE GAME TO GET UP ON G-UNIT SO MUCH PROPS TO HIM FOR GETTING HIMSELF OUT THERE.

I mean the whole situation is obvious. It's marketing. Game started with Aftermath, and then the label heads put him with G Unit which is a huge right now.  The logic was obvious, put no name rapper with high profile label, people are gonna check him.  Especially, on both coasts. And it's working.

Game could be an average rapper and still blow the fuck up, just through ties. Luckily, he's actually a good artist. It's was a good decision to throw him on g unit. I think it was Jimmy Iovine who made that call. and jimmy Iovine sleeps on a pile of cash. S'all about the money.

G-Unit = 50 Cent's project = The catalyst of everything that is wrong with the Westcoast and why Dr.Dre doesn't produce for Westcoast rappers any more..  :o :'( 8)

The post was in pro-Westcoast style, and was mostly sarcastic.
