Title: another 2pac question
Post by: Don Breezio on April 04, 2004, 11:48:48 PM
i have a trivia calendar from sam goody...and on one of the days a few weeks ago it had a question about 2pac (one of the probably 10 questions about hip hop off the whole fuckin calendar  ::)), anyways...the question was "What was 2pac's rap name before he was discovered by digital underground"...according to them the answer was "MC New York"...is this true? seems kinda wierd considering how much 2pac repped the west...i know he was born in new york and shit but i never knew this.

I wouldn't trust a calandar for one.  and I remember seeing sum shit on pac and stretch took care of pac in NY and shit.  never heard nothin bout him haveing a different name tho.  although I have a bad memory and could have eazily made all this up in my head and just believed it to be true.

Yeah when he first moved from New York to Baltimore his rap name was MC New York, mainly to let everyone know that was where he was from. People gotta understand that the beef was only wit biggie and a few other cats on the east, pac was born in New York and had mad luv for the place.
