First of all the Raiders will be at least 8-8 next year and will still be better than the Chargers just like every year. Second, the Cubs now have the best rotation in the Majors, especially when Prior comes back.

I'd say the Cubs and A's have 2 of the best pitching staff's in baseball... in Oakland you got Hudson, Mulder, and Zito, and even Redman's not to bad... and in Chicago you got Kerry Wood, Prior (2 of the best) Maddux, and a few others... it's actually a toss up in my opinion... we're gonna have to wait till deeper in the season before we can really tell.

Key word is lead them to the playoffs, they haven't lead them past the first round ever. the A's get up on a series 2-1 in a 5 game series and end up losing the series. And if you look at the stats from all of those years, its been the pitching which has let down the A's in the post season.

Last year Tejada and Chavez, the A's best hitters had a combined amount of hits for the 5 game series of about 5 or less hits. You have no idea what you are talking about dogg. The A's pitching was great throughout the playoffs, and the whole season, they just couldn't get the bats going. And at least they have gotten to the playoffs the past 4 years, unlike the cubs. Plus last year in the playoffs Mulder was hurt and couldn't play, that was a huge stab to the A's. Not to mention other bad shit goin wrong, such as Byrnes not touching homeplate or that Red Sox guy gettin in the way of Tejada when he was rounding 3rd base.
