Title: Outlook Express HELP! I get the emails but they all blank?
Post by: Que (signing off) on April 07, 2004, 01:54:50 PM
I recently got rid of a virus (via Nortons) and spyware (via BPS) - now I can open, receive and send messages from Outlook Express 6 - but there is no message content in any inbox messages, ie message is blank (all new, old and saved messages are blank). I am guessing that I will have to remove and reload outlook but I am reluctant as I will lose my address book and previously saved emails - HELP

Only thing I would suggest is, make sure you double click on the message.  If you just click once, it only highlights the title, and if you double click it will display the message.  I know your'e probably doing that already, but just trying to help.

I got another idea, because I'm just that damn talented.

Download and Install "Outlook".  It'll auto-import your address book.

Then, delete Outlook Express, and then download and re-install Outlook Express, and it'll import your address book from Outlook.  Then, finally, delete Outlook.

Presto, another problem solved by the great one.
