dont think its readin my mic, actually im sure it aint. this shiet is slowin down a lot of work i need to do.

open up your recording mixer(control levels) for your sound card and make sure it's set to record useing the mic

note... the mic mite be onin the "live" playback mixer sound level controls but not on in the recording

if u double click on the speaker icon in your task bar (next to the time) the play back sound levels controls will come up
 to get to the recording levels controler click the options menu then click properties...choose "recording" then click ok

then recording level controls will pop up and u can turn on the device u want to record from and adjust it's level
