ANTONIO FEAT. THE GAME // (Dedicato)
Antonio is the first RnB artist coming out on Aftermath. The scheduled single is crazy and it features The Game. The song is called “DJ” and it was recorded at Encore studios. The Game has 16 bars at the beginning and middle of the track. Dr. Dre produced 2 tracks on the album. Troy Oliver (Ginuwine and J-Lo) also has several tracks. Antonio is grittier than D'Angelo with sick vocals and lyrics. We will keep you posted.

Antonio is the first r&b artist on Aftermath and this is new situation for them. We have been working closely with the label to ensure that this project is handled properly. Also, Antonio took a break from recording late last year to handle some legal issues--his project lost some of the momentum at that point but is currently on course and near completion.
I spoke with the label about updating their site and they are currently working on adding Antonio's name to the website roater. As I mentioned before, they need to take new pictures and if you notice, all of the artists on the site have pics. Antonio and Aftermath did not like the first set of pics...the new photoshoot is scheduled for this weekend. The focus up until this point has been on the recording process. Dre is very particular and expects full dedication and hard work with respect to the recording process.
Now that Antonio has a near complete album appproved by Dre, we are focusing on marketing and promoting the project. I will receive all the music they currently have tonight.
Other interesting aspects about the project: Antonio wrote a song called "LOVE" produced by Troy Oliver that Usher wanted for his album. Antonio decided to keep it for his project. Andre "Deyo" Deyo collaborated as a writer/producer on the album as well. Peace!
