Title: Aftermath Tour 2005
Post by: Adam Donnelly on April 15, 2004, 02:37:32 AM
Busy rap mogul Dr Dre wants all his Aftermath artists to record and release albums this year - so they can hit the road together in 2005.

The former NWA star has scrapped what was to be his final album, Detox, to concentrate on producing projects for new signings Busta Rhymes, Eve and The Game, as well as collaborating with the likes of 50 Cent and Eminem.

And, if he achieves his goal of bombarding the charts with Aftermath stars, he'll set up a massive rap tour for 2005.

He says, "The actual goal is to have every Aftermath artist come out with an album this year, and to do a stadium tour. That would be hot."

Hmm, dunno if I'd go see a purely Aftermath tour. Now if they were to do another Up In Smoke...

A highly abitious goal I gotta say - not only for every artist on the label to put out an album, but go on tour together as well. If they pull this one off I'm amazed... But pleased, if the tour comes my way! ;D

A DPG tour would be better I dont want to see Dre on stage with busta, eve or 50, id rather see him on stage with cube, ren, snoop, warren and nate ana a reunited dogg pound :)

would be dope if they could do that concert, but that is a lot of artists to push and promote: em, 50, d-12, game, busta, eve, stat quo, banks, and buck.

This would be dope even if it isnt as good as an up in smoke 2 - who knows maybe it could even turn into that by the end if dre knows what he is doin

i agree this tour should come to australia but didnt eminem say he'd never come back to australia after mothers cried and they tried to censor the last eminem/d-12 tour to austraila?? i doubt the show would come down minus eminem since he'd be the top headlining act since dre will have no new material
