make sure the version that you use of dear mama is the one off d.r. greatest hits. It sounds like he's got a live band behind him.

If ya want a real emotional song, peep "What u See" by Dove Shack, you'll be really surprised with the song/.  It samples Tracy Chapmans' Fast Car, it has a real sombre feel to it.
