Hmmmm...
In terms of lyricism: At The Speed Of Life (I thought his lyrcism was at its best on this album)

In terms of good beats: Restless

Forty Days and Forty Nights was his best LP. IMO it had the best balance of lyrics and production plus it was the most consistent album he released. At the speed of life had to incredible bangers, Foundation and Carry the Weight but it had spotty production and some forgettable songs. Restless had some incredible production. I haven't heard man vs machine. If I were to put them in order, it would go like this

40 Days and 40 Nights
Restless
At the Speed of Life
MVM: Haven't heard

At The Speed Of Life - an good album from good to end, and it got three of the best five X songs ever (Foundation, Paparazi, Carry The Weight), Restless was goo all way trough too, but it lacked the serious bangers (except Get Ya Walk On).

my vote goes to ATSOL!

I love them all...
but nothin' bump's like "Restless"
"Front 2 back" it's non-stop thumper's...

Of course it's not as in depth as his previous titles..
"A.T.S.O.L"
"40 dayz.."
but Tears "M.V.M" in 2...ImO

Hard to beat "Restless" with a system & a full tank of unleaded... ;)

Voted for Restless. At The Speed Of Life is definately a tight album, but the production sets it back a bit. Restless doesn't have the same quality lyrics, but the production is miles ahead the other albums and there's really nothing wrong[/] with the raps either. They just aren't so deep there.

For me the beats on ATSOL are much better than Restless. Their ruggedness fits Xzibit so much better than (bar a few tracks) the beats on Restless do.
