Thanks, so where does the main part of song come from. I've heard all the other tracks that What's My Name sampled and nopne have the distinct melody in the Snoop song. Mainly the bass part.

Like dude said, it is Knee Deep. It isn't the exact same melody, but you can tell it was influenced by it. The club remix of this song that sounded almost the same but the bassline was different uses the bassline from Funkin for Jamaica, it just changes it up some.

i have both Knee Deep and Funkin and neither have part I'm refering to, and I refuse to believe Dre did it himself.

My bad I just listened to Knee Deep again. My brother had changed the file names of my Parliament Funk songs. I was listening to something else. Sorry if I wasted anyone's time.
