and why is it the same beat as
Welcome to the chuch volume 3 - track 7 - Sipping On Some Moet - Snoop Rbx Ewhite Twinz Soopafly Daz
-
Found this on a site:
Look out for the DJ Muggs produced banger "Ride & Smoke."
-
Yeah...DJ Muggs made the beat.
-
Snoop and them did what some rappers call a "Freestyle" over the beat.
Muggs still got in him. Now, only if he gave that beat to Cypress! That would've been ill.
-
DJ Muggs made a great beat. :)

i understand that, but they rapped over it so long time ago and xzibit just made a single with it? seems kind of weird, the beat came out long time ago

The song is not new. Damn! Where has everyone been? The original was released on this Mixtape in 2003.

Then the first remix was released on this mixtape.

Which came out around the beginning of the year.
The "video" of the original was made for the Strong Arm Steady DVD. This song is far from new.
-
It's also featured on the SAS mixtape called "LA Ballin" which dropped around January, and Mitch's XXL Volume 3 which dropped even before that.
-
so why is xzibit using it for first single for his new cd? (or he is not?)
-
Why not use it as a first single? Let's take something like "Through The Wire" by Kanye. That song was out for over a year by the time it was released as a single. Or "Wanksta," it was out for months, then it was released as a single.

Kanye wants to use Home as his single for his next album.

wasn't he saving that as the first single from his third album...

Uhmm could be but I -think- it was for the second album.
I heard he wants to use "Hey Mama" for his last album.

I hope he cleans it up though, it doesn't sound like a professional beat.
