Ok, i know, i know Suge and Puff had major beef so it wouldnt make sense, its my boy who wants to know. I cant argue with him cuz it doesnt actually say who produced the song anywhere.
I mean, it does sample a 80's hit (a diddy specialty) and that does sound like puff on those two lines "i gotta get paid"....etc
does anyone know, cuz i know puff couldnt have did it
also, was this song completed before he died, or after? i know parts of the verses are from I wonder if heaven got a ghetto, but not all......peace
-
i thought the same thing too...it sounds like diddy is doin adlibs on the song
-
ya, it seems to make sense that diddy did the song, does anyone know for sure who produced it?
-
it doesn't say who produced it in the credits of his greatest hits album or on the single. on the single it does say that afeni shakur is the exectutive producer though ???
-
Puff doesnt produce west coast artist.
-

As far as I know, Pac recorded the song before dying, but it wasn't mixed into its current state until after his death.
-
I can't imagine Puff produced this.
-
oh and i think he just redid some lines from i wonder if heaven got a ghetto and that they didn't sample it.

doesn't say who produced it ;)
-
My guess is Soulshock & Karlin - has their sound to me.
Shit song, whoever did it :P ;)
-
Actually, if anything it has Puffy's sound to be honest.......seriously, jacks an 80's hit, has a puff sound alike on it, the drums, man someone prove this wrong cuz i wonder who the hell did this song.
Maybe Afei got Puff to do it and then never said who produced it to not piss suge off.
Anyone know who produced this track
-
the trackmasters produced changes, thats why afeni shelled out big buck for them to produce until the end of time, they tried 2 make lightning strike twice but it didnt work by sampling 2 1980s songs
-
bahahahahahahah bahahaha!!!!!!!!!!!!

in the list of producers Puff isnt listed...
-
Trackmasters produced it? That would make sense i guess, got any proof or is this just a guess?
-
I dunno who produced it but I would bet a million bucks that puffy didn't. trust me, EVERYONE would know if puffy produced that song, especially since all that pac/badboy beef. Plus puffy would probably use some shameless plug saying how he produced it, and how he wants to end the beef he had with pac, blah blah blah.
-
Ya, i know, i never really though puff did the song either, but it DOES sound like him on there, and it IS an 80's song jacked. My boy swears its produced by Puff, so someone show some PROOF that someone else did it. If trackmasters did the song, why didnt they get the credits.....
-
yeah i thought the whole time the trackmasters did the song....but i dont know for surew
-
got this from hitemup.com
it says D.Evans in credits, which is Deon Evans aka Big D The Impossible, he made OG beat, which as I know ain`t that diff from released one, pz
-
Him, he produced some other tracks for Pac, right? I think he did the original version around the time of I Wonder If heave Got a Ghetto, and then for the greatest hits someone redid the song
-
trackmasters produced it, its even in the booklet for pac's greatest hits
-
why the hell would puffy produce a pac song?...dumb question.
-

I'd like to see scans of that booklet of yours :-X
-
in the booklet it doesnt say who produced it all it says is:
written by T shakur, D Evans, B Hornsby
We all know who T Shakur is, B Hornsby is Bruce Hornsby who sung the original version called the way it is. producers are also credited as writters meaning D Evans must have produced the song. If u look in the booklet u will see that Brendas Got A Baby also has writing credits by D Evans as i stated earlier D Evans is also known as Big D The Impossible. it states that Big D produced Brendas got a baby meaning that Big D also produced changes.
Not Trackmasters not Puffy but Big D the impossible AKA D Evans produced changes. ;D
-
^ So it was Puffy right? ;D
