05 Put It In The Air 3:34
06 Calm Down 3:03
All new tracks..
This is what Hiphopsite.com had to say about this advance:
MASH-UP POSSE
Though we have been hyping up M.O.P.'s forthcoming rock/rap hybrid LP, The Mash Out Posse, with Shiner Massive, if you though Fame and Danze were the epitome of gully before ("your fucking with the original Backstreet Boys"), wait till you hear what they have in store with The Mash Out Posse. We recently got a six-track preview of the LP and what we heard totally flips the script on rock/rap hybrids; "Conquerors" features M.O.P. blasting away over Black Sabbath's "Iron Man" and on "Hilltop Flava" (No Sleep Till Brooklyn) Shiner Massive replays the Beastie's track with renewed vigor. Another track we heard that stood out included a re-recorded edgier version of "Fire" (which all of you gaming enthusiasts will recognize from EA Sports Fight Night 2004). M.O.P. is taking extreme measures to market this LP to both the Urban and Rock crowds and will even be joining Snoop and Ghostface on the main stage of Linkin Park's Project Revolution tour this spring. Look for The Mash Out Posse LP to impact on 6-8-04. - Matt Conaway

Props 8) These are probably one of the best rock-tracks I've ever heard, but... they're still rock-tracks, and not the type of beats I like listening to. But being experimental is always good in my opinion, and as long as the rap-disc is heat, I'm alright with it :D "Put It In The Air" is my favourite of the tracks. And for "Conquerors" they used the same beat as Busta Rhymes for his collabo with Ozzy Osbourne on "This Means War!!". I prefer Busta's version though.
-
definitely some dope shit...
this version of "Fire" is fire!!! ;D
-
They sampled Iron Man? Bastards. I haven't been this upset since Jay Z and Kanye used the Doors 5 to 1. If this song by MOP gets even remotely popular, and the stupid rap-only fans in my area start thinking M.O.P.s producer composed this, instead of the great Tony Iommi. I'll hit some one.

damn those links aren't working, peace.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
You'd be surprised.
I know people who still credit the beat to It's Mine, by Mobb Deep feat. Nas, to Havoc. AND THEY'VE SEEN SCARFACE.
