When does it drop? I can't wait to pick it up.
-
Their first single was actually pretty dope, I love the beat, some oldschool-flavour. Gonna download the album later...
-
It's indeed a good album. The three are definitely not the best emcees, but it's nice to listen to some old type of music. Does anybody know whether Rick Rubin produced too? Because there are some Beastie Boys typical beats on it.
Fav' Tracks:
Ch-Check It Out
Right Right Now Now
All Lifestyles
Shazam!
The Brouhaha
-
i might dl a few tracks and cop it if i really like em
-
heard it front 2 back today. quite a lousy album IMO. :-\

Actually he's right the Beastie Boys were actually a punk band before turning to hip-hop, back in the late 70's. Doesn't give him an excuse to hate them though.

"An Open Letter to NYC," has samples of 50 Cent, RZA and Nas

its their first album produced entirely by themselves. its mixed by duro (roc/dj clue affilate). And its very good and re-freshing. One of my fav albums this year. Alots of hiphop samples.
-

I picked it up today, haven't given it a listen yet though.
-
Definitly picking it up.
-
Well I gave it a listen. It's really good, but it's different from the rest of their albums. I'm dissapointed that there was no instrumental tracks like on their last few and the beats weren't as great as they could have been.
Overall 4/5.
