Seems to me like that's what most people in the Westcoast section is moaning about..

Well, '92 and '93 are when the 2 best west coast rap albums of all time came out...It wouldn't make sense to say '94-'96...Is that when rap debuted in Norway?

if anybody made beats soundin like The Chronic, Season Of Da Siccness or Lethal Injection today I wouldn't give a fuck it's 'out-dated'. Same for east coast shit soundin like Cuban Linx or Infamous. But then again I think we do need cats who are tryina be original and create sumthin new. The way I see it a lot of people (including myself) generally like mid- or early 90's shit better than a lot of what comes out nowadays, so when a mediocre album drops people are quick to wish it was back in the days when shit sounded like this or like that. And at the same time people hope for artists to elevate, be innovative and take rap to a new level...in other words, people are undecided about whether they want progression or a return to how it used to be, all they know is they ain't happy with the way shit sounds, that's what this contradiction is based on IMO
