Title: Difference between Rap and Hiphop
Post by: Throwback on June 16, 2004, 01:14:43 PM: is there a difference between those two words? or are they just two terms for the same thing? and what's the point of making up two words?

Rap is music and HipHop is a lifestyle.
Don't forget about Dj-ing, Graffity or Breakdancing. They all belong the HipHop as well as MC-ing.
Some evil tongues also say Rap is ruining HipHop because ppl more and more think Rap=HipHop and therefore forget about what it's really meant to be.
Oh well.
