I never really see too many topics about this album, so I thought I'd make one? What are your thoughts on Still I Rise? I personally LOVE this album, Aside from Until The End Of Time, this is my favorite PostHumous 2Pac album. The title track is one of my favorite Pac songs EVER. Letter 2 The President, Baby Don't Cry, Black Jesuz. Real Hot album, what r ya thoughts? Only tracks I didn't like were Hell 4 A Huster (BECAUSE I DIDNT LIKE THE REMIXED BEAT) and the very last song with JUST The Outlawz.

this album is fucking underrated
-
The last track was just horrible. I actually loved the album when it first came out, but I just forgot about it.
I was feelin' every song you listed plus Teardrops and Closed Caskets and The Good Die Young. The title track was off the chain.

Album sure is underated in some ways........not a bad album at all.....some tracks sucked like 1 or 2 due to the beat but other then that it was great, a few classics on there
STILL I RISE & KILLUMINATI were my shit 8)
love those songs
*for those that dont know Kurupt produced a track on here, the beat wasnt the best though*
-
^ me too.. i love killuminati (btw. do you know thats an actual movement? )
i liked this album.. it got slated coz they retouched a few songs that had already leaked. the changes pale now against the other changes amaru have made since.
-
i agree. best posthumous pac album. my favorites re killuminati and homeboys. when i make a long ride in my car i bounce this disc. dont need to skip tracks.
-
this album was the first to feature "the GENIUS" idea lets remove these classic, bangin beats and replace them with piles of shit! Amaru and the producers fucked up some of Pac's best shit:
Still I Rise
Secretz of War (prolly one of the best beats ever!)
Black Jesuz
Hell 4 a Hustler
and most importantly Tattoo Tearz!
also the album cover is just ass! The Outlawz really suck on this album, too much Castro! And why the hell did they delete almost all of fatals' rhymes! The only time the outlawz were decent was on Until the End of Time.

Agree, I remember driving from Cali to Washington state bumpin this album

Id give the album a 4/5
They changed a few of the songs, though they didnt fuck this album up nearly as bad as UTEOT. Some of the changes were actually for the better (see Black Jesus), but others were not (see Still I Rise....og version "Sittin on Chrome" is much better). Pac's performance on this album was on another level, almost 7 Day Theory like.

I can't believe y'all tripping on "Hell 4 a Hustler", that's the best track on here, along with Letter to the president.
But I guess putting new beats to old Pac-verses is a doomed idea before it's even done, you'd think dude was god or something.. :-X

That's one of my favorite Pac albums, I play it a lot. "Hell 4 A Hustler", "Black Jesuz", "Still I Rise", etc...very tight songs.

The movement is actually called illuminati pac changed it to killuminati because he did not believe in it. eg Killiluminati = Kill the rumour of illuminati

sorry you're wrong.
killuminati is an anti illuminati movement. to try and end suppression by the NWO.
