The top 3 though are all there. In fact, the choices should only be between 2Pac, Notorious B.I.G., KRS-One, Rakim, Jay-Z, Ice Cube, Nas and Scarface. They are the only ones I feel that are in the argument to G.O.A.T., with 'Pac coming out on top in my opinion. Why, Biggie has the flow, Rakim is the lyrist, the rest are in their own level, but I think 'Pac, is all around. He may not have the be flow like Biggie, but his up there, same with lyrist, his up there, his message is second to none, and his passion even is greater than Cubes, 'Pac I think is the best all around rapper, and his career proves that with his sales, and his icon status, and the impact. 'Pac is the all around greatest rapper, no questions ask.

Pac to me was great because he was the total package. Lyrics, flow, delivery. He may not of had the best of each but he had a good balance of it all.

Ras is my fav Rapper but Nas if easily the overall GOAT.

You know, I think there's no such thing as the G.O.A.T. because of the fact everyone has their own personal favorites.
Example: if you're a big fan of MC's with amazing lyricism, the chance is quite big you will choose someone as Big Pun or Kool G Rap. Meanwhile...you can also be a huge Hip-Hop fan in general, and have respect for all mentioned MC's, but still vote for Pac, because he has such an impact on Hip-Hop.
Basically, what I'm trying to say is, as long as all those MC's (KRS-One, Kool G Rap, Rakim, Pac, Big, Eminem, Big Daddy Kane) are still mentioned in 30,40,50 years from now, I'll be glad...'cause they are the ones who really meant something for Hip-Hop. And I hope the generations who follow after us, will still remember them.
It would be a very sad thing to see kids in 20 years from now mentioning rappers like Nelly, J-Kwon, Young Gunz, etc...as some of the best that has ever done it.
