I just got word from KAM's former publicist they have been playing his new single lately on the station.
Nima, would you happen to have more news about this?
-
Excellent post. . .
Whats up with this? KAM is coming back?
-
Post some infos on this situation...

They have? I haven't listened to the beat regularly since they fired Julio G several years ago. What time slot did they play him?
-
I wanna hear this, Kam is super dope.

I'm still waiting on The Self.

More Info peeps.......got this from another board, not sure what site it has come from..
"Tonight on Felly Fel's show on power106 (heavy hitters represent) he had King Tech, Kam, and Pooh reppin DTP on to promote Sway and Tech's new album comming out 'Back To Basics' which should be out sometime in July I believe. Pretty much packed with raw hip hop lyricism and just raw hip hop in general.
The lead single is from Cali's own Kam rappin over a sped up version of 'The Message' with a nice little shot at Cube talkin about how he knocked his ass out. On the B side of that single is a track from Juice that is FIRE. Juice talks about what hes known for, how hip hop was, and pretty much how others see him as just a battle rapper from the rap olympics and other shows who went up against Supernat and Eminem. Both singles should be out.....if not they are probably floating around on the net. If people still think Juice fell off and is one dimensional then go get this single.
Sly Boogy's album is slated to come out after years of prepping, re-writing, and re-working tracks. Been 2 years in the works and is just about to drop. Tech spoke on it briefly when they were speaking about how the record labels force MCs to get signed and put out records within 3 months, which is why you hear alot of bs and watered down ****"

dissin cube again? i thought that shit was dusted time ago. ??? I dont think Cubes ever dissed Kam on record before but it seems Kam is baiting him to...
-
whens that sway & tech album drop?
-
Sounds like a good track, over the Message. Looking forward to hearing this.
-
Damn i was looking forward to listen to some new fresh Kam shit, but a diss track to Cube wasnt exactly the thing i was thinking to. Disappointed.
-
Another Cube diss, damn.
-
It ain't a Cube diss record. I heard it when it premiered and I got more details on it for the people who want it. Its called "The Message" and features Akon. Akon is the dude who did that Locked Up joint with Styles P (he's very talented BTW). Anyway, its about the state of westcoast hip-hop and how we are not getting any love from anywhere outside the region, especially in New York. He throwns in a line about Cube, but thats it. Sorry, I can't get the exact line off my head. The beat is produced by Def Jef, and its a reworked version of that classic Grand Master Flash joint. It's HOT, believe me...catchy as hell. The part of the hook by Kam goes like this: "Don't play me like Westcoast rap is dead/ Y'all tryin' not to break no bread a ha HA ha HA." And yea, it's gonna be on Tech and Sway's "Back to Basics" album.
That Juice song is nice too...
-
This should be dope. Kam is sick.
