I picked this up today, I had no idea they were coming out with a new album.  I thought it was just a bootleg, but I guess its a real CD.

Yeah The Roots are back (again) and how! Man, this album is really cool, especially the album version of Don't Say Nuthin' has a cool start (first 5 seconds, I can't help it. but the sound is so cool :P).. It's a bit more hip-hop than the other albums imo, more real hard beats and raps..

If it was cold weather metaphor, they could easily have picked a colder country than Holland..

It's a solid release without any fillers, but nothing spectacular. Does somebody have a feature-list? I heard Devin The Dude and Jean Grae, and I think Pharrell Williams did the hook in "Stay Cool", but what about the others? Big Daddy Kane?

Fav' Tracks:
Star
Don't Say Nuthin' (the only real banger)
Boom (although it got a fucked up beat)
Somebody's Gotta Do It
The Mic
Stay Cool

yea this is not bad, but no standout tracks.....I'm still waiting for a "what we do" type of track, that is still my fav. Roots track ever

I got some confusing things for all my Roots fans. mIRC got a new version of this album (The_Roots-The_Tipping_Point-RETAIL-2004-ESC - 79mb). It only got ten tracks instead of eleven, but two hidden tracks at the end of the tenth track (the missing track "The Mic" is one if it). Furthermore it got another trackorder. And the cover is different to what we saw earlier, where Black Thought was on the cover. It's the cover that I had in my signature of days now. I don't know who this guys is supposed to be.
