Title: These Westcoast Websites are so important to WC Hip Hop....
Post by: Que (signing off) on July 05, 2004, 09:59:33 AM: Westcoast Hip Hop can still come back strong as long as we have Big Don Seer with DUBCC, and websites like WCRydaz, WCA, Westcoast2k, Dubcnn keeping us updated with the latest news.

If we lost those 5 websites, the only Westcoast music we would hear about would be whats on MTV. Real talk, because the internet is still the only source for good, underground, commercial wescoast releases.

If your in California then maybe you can keep up. But remember, Westcoast Hip Hop has a huge fan base from Europe (Germany especially), Australia, Canada etc. Where would people turn for news? Allhiphop/HipHopSite to find out the latest Dr Dre moves, Magazines to see what Snoop is releasing....

If I wasnt a reguler geek here, I wouldnt have known Big Hutch had a solo CD coming, I wouldnt know E-White had just put out a mixtape (if it wasnt for WCRydaz)..... the list goes on.

Do you feel me? without these westcoast websites a lot of people wouldnt be able to keep up with Westcoast rap.

Getting involved in your local hip hop community will only provide a minimal impact on your hip-hop knowledge especially if your local hip-hop community is bad (like mine).

I live in cali, but I don't really hear about shit until way after I heard about it on the net. I never even watch mtv, bet, listen to the radio or read hip hop magazines. all that shit is just about the mainstream stuff, and hardly ever anything about the westcoast unless its snoop dogg related.

Yep the board is extremly important for the artists and fans to communicate! There's so many rappers posting over there, label ppl, everybody!
