Deezam this is what ive been waiten for
NBA LIVE 2005 is gonna have a slamdunk contest in it. It looks sick kinda hard to explain how it works
check out www.ign.com for moe info, theres also a video of it too cant wait!!
-
wow... the last nba game to feature a slam dunk contest was that game by konami on the playstation, nba in the zone. it's gonna be tight, especially considering the the xbox version is going to be on xbox live this year. i can hardly wait.
-
eh i might have to buy live instead of espn basketball.
-
thx for that man 8)
-
daaaaaaaaamn....i hope this shit is realistic too...Ima pick Steve Nash and win 8)
-
about time a game got this, thats fuckin awesome
-
maybe this means that basketball games will finally have "sweet dunks", and alot of different kinds.
-
again, EA goes with the superficial stuff. I bet my basketball that the Sega Game will have the more realistic gameplay --- again.

Yea but which game will b funner??
-
ill say one thing. i bought espn basketball, while everyone i knew bought nba live. I played both and in my opinion, espn blew live out of the water. You cant even compare them, espn was so much better, in gameplay, realism, and graphics.
im gonna have to see a huge difference for me to want to switch titles for the 05 series.

Ive played both too and i prefer live
-
Sounds kewl.
I prefer Live rather than ESPN. ESPN is coolies. If yer into a more realistic bball game then stick w/ the ESPN series, but if yer into more FUN, lol..........get LIVE MAN!
-
Yes espn is more realistic.
if i want to play a non realistic nba game ill buy NBA street.

youll never see that on any EA game.
ESPN 2K5 baby

from former poster sub-z aka the nazi guy on this subject.....
HeilHitler****: will you go there and tell them that its not revelutionary, since espn college hoops 2k4 had a dunk contest lol
-
I don't a slam dunk contest is exactly revolutionary. PEople will get tired of it considering there are only so many different types of dunks that'll be available. On top of that, people will eventually find out which dunks are the best and how to do them, not making it much of a contest.

Sounds like a dope feature
