Name some West Coast albums that you introduced to a friend (or other) and the muthafuckaz cant stop listening to. Just curious cause Im from upstate NY and to be in that area and getting someone to listen to somethin else besides Jay-Z, Nas ,etc. is a hard task. Afew of my examples would be WSCG, Spice 1, and E40...Peace

I got some dudes hooked on Xzibit right around when Restless first dropped. None of them heard of him before that album dropped.

Basically anyone, my friends, my PARENTS even, love DJ Quik after I introduced Rhythm-al-ism to em. My dad likes Devin The Dude too ::)
-
Alright thats good shit but yall from the West Coast right?
-
Yeah I'm from the West, not like anyone really gives a fuck about West Coast rap where I live though.

The last one was Perro's "All Perro's Better Go To Heaven" album.

ok, my best freind is whiter than me, and only likes a lil rap, he likes a lot of techno, trance, etc... but i make him phat ass mixes with songs with the sickest beats, he also loves Jedi Mind tricks, casue the beats are hot, and it dont have that commercial sound, and he also really likes dj quik - safe & sound, every time me and him blaze, we put that shit in.
-
whoo, dude, thats a lot of albums i had to count... ::)
i good friend of mine, always gets to know new shit b/c i introduced it to him
when i phone him, i tell him: damn, i just got this and that, and its TYTE!
you gotta check this
we'll meet as soon as possible and chill
and he likes about 90% of the shit i like - so hes almost into everything i think its worth introducing to him
and i like to do it
and another friend, chris, i introduced twinz, 5 footaz, mausberg and suga free to him
so basically some rare g-funk, and some quik-heavy-hitters
and that shit aint known as the death row stuff, like especially "regulate"
almost everyone knows that song...
but only a few have heard about mausberg... when im talking about the regular rap-listener, who even claims to prefer the westcoast!

Oh that reminds me this chick from my school I always send songs to.
I introduced her to uhmmmm Kanye West (even though she would've gotten into him without me),
KP & Envyi, Dina Rae, Roscoe, Jin and uhm some more.
And uhmm my homie, I think I introduced him to Crooked I. He saw that freestyle on the Wake Up show, the Grindin' freestyle and he immediatly downloaded Crooked's last mixtape.
