Title: Easy CD/DVD Creator 6...

got an external dvd writer yesterday and with it i got this software. so i build my dvd using the dvd builder, and when i select burn, it gives me an error saying unable to initialise cd creator engine, please reinstall software. i did this, but the shit still wont work!!

anyone have any ideas? ive tried the roxio site and updated everything i can but still nothing :-\

try a different burner software, like nero

I had the same problem but with Nero
And it helped me out

Have you set the jumper settings.. ??
Think maybe the BIOS should know about the burner too.. I'm not sure about the details though..

u mite need to go on roxio.com and download the driver or bruner info file for your burnner to work with it or go to the burnner's manufactor web site

take a hammer and bash ur burner den ur comp then try ..........it might work it worked for me
