I'm not really sure whether this should be in this section or the G-Spot, but it's about terms you mostly hear in West Coast rap, so I assume it belongs here.
I've been listening to West Coast Hip-Hop for a few years now, but I still don't know what the following words/expressions mean:
"I got an S on my chest"
"croker sacks" (could be mispelled, don't know)
Also...in those hood-movies, you often see shoes hanging on a wire...is there an explanation for that?
-
"I Got A S On My Chest" - Referring To "SUPERMAN" how he has an S on his chest
Shoes Hangin on wires - We just did that for the fuck of it when we were little, we didnt know why, maybe its to let people know theres a gang on the Bloc...??
-
man, that S-question was eazy...
you should've got this on your own 8)
-
lol @ the shoes on the line. we have that shit in every single town in california. that isn't some kind of gang thing, its just people throw their shoes up on the lines cuz they think its funny, or just for the fuck of it.
-
I think it depends where u at bro cuz I know some places where they put red laces in the shoes before they throw them up there just to show that it's a blood neighborhood...same with the blue shoe laces....
