I saw this over on The Internet Movie Database and decide to poll it up here to see what you all think. Personally I want to Alien to win. But I'm a little worried the filmmakers probably went with the humans or a Freddy Vs. Jason ending - just to disappoint.

yeah but they make the suggestion that the fight isnt over. i think its pretty hard to say the either jason or Freddy won by Freddy invading Jason's dream in the final scene.

Evil never dies, but Jason won the fight...Why else would he be carrying Freddy's head out of the lake? LOL...The wink was just an extra nod at the audience...PeACe

i think Freddy won because if u look at the movie Freddy whoops his ass through out the whole damn movie and then he winks at the end so people thinks its a tie? but really when there is a tie u see who whooped ass more and i say Freddy whooped more ass...

Well...I'm the biggest Freddy fan ever, and I think Freddy whooped Jason's ass, but in the end, Freddy was the one who had his head chopped off...I mean, of course a horror villain can never truely die, and there WILL be a sequel, but you can't say there was no winner in "Freddy vs Jason"...You either think Jason won, because he had Freddy's head, or you think Freddy won, because he was controlling Jason through his dreams...It all depends on how you see it.

but Jason carrying Freddy's head was a dream - Freddy's head wouldn't be able to wink and smile when decapitated in the real world. he only could do something like that in the dream world. In the real world, Freddy is bound to 'mortal' rules.

it was a tie i think. Freddys world isnt in real life. So his head being chopped off in real life, didnt really mean anything for him being alive or dead. Plus, the girl chopped his head off anyways.
As for the topic...who knows. Predator should KILL Alien. Predator is more of a thinker anyways. Shit, its a predator, it hunts. Plus it can make itself invisible. Alien is just like some big dumb animal lol

They'll go for a Freddy Vs. Jason type ending to ensure a sequel and to let boths types of fans stay happy. Like Nik said it all depends how you see it, same with Alien Vs Predator.

"Freddy vs Jason" = Perfect ending...Fans of both franchises loved it, and neither were let down, while there was still a winner (depending on how you view it)...PeACe

They have CLAWS. Big, HUGE CLAWS. :D.
Besides, they have a very gross jumper, so they can get at you like a slow-driving car and seize you with them big-ass claws. :)
Technically, Predator is way too gross tho. I mean, sniper, invisibility, healing.. all this stuff.

after playing Aliens vs Predator 2 for the computer (great game at a great price which stay close to the movies for both aliens and predators)
here's the deal:
Aliens have speed, their teeth, claws, and the adults have tails with a paralytic venom on them....plus their blood is extremely acidic...they "see" pheremones so the predators invisability means jack...however, their shell doesn't stand up to the predators plasma blasts
predators have cunning and intelligence, plus high tech weaponry (trackings discs, auto tracking plasma guns....) they also have a healing kit that heals the majority of their wounds. they're not as fast as the aliens, but they're not slow or weak either...their major disadvantage come in the form of their sight....they see humans through infrared, but they have to use another visor to see the aliens (once again i think it goes by pheremones) of course they could use their natural vision, but their targeting weapons don't work without the visor
but in my opinion, the humans will win...they want to be able to make a sequel and it just wouldn't be as fun without little humans get butchered in the process

Everyone, go to Yahoo.com and go to the movies section. There should be a fight clip between a single Predator and Alien. Except for tackling the Predator once, Predator kicks the living shit out of it.

I loved them as there own films but I just to myself 'how unoriginal' when shit like this happens. I would of much rather seen a new Aliens or Predator film in itself. I know Pred 2 sucked and most of the alien films after the first and second where pretty weak but this to me seems like somebody has just said "Oh we cannot create a new film or new characters, fuck it we'll have em in the same movie battling each other", that to me is just boring.

are you kidding? this has been in the works for yearssssssssssss. I know I've wanted the movie for years. the video games have been out for over a decade and the comic books even longer. No way is this unoriginal.

you're wrong about this being unoriginal...they had a script wrote for this filme about 10 years ago.(read it a magazine..cant remember which one though), but it kept getting canned/pushed back....its been due for years

whats your point Downy? I know the movie ain't gonna be that good, because it wants to reach an entire audience. I still think I'm gonna like it tho, cuz I'm a huge fan of Predator and Aliens.
