-
been listening to his album since tuesday(the day i bought it)
no doubt this album is solid, its a shame how he is so underated
-
I've been bumpin' this album quite a bit lately.
This year just keeps getting better and better.
-
Heated album, but all the skits bring it down..
Competes with Royce 5'9'' for album of the year, with Mobb Deep as honorable mention, imo.

masta ace is the only rapper i can think of who makes skits and actually helps piece the album together.

I HATE skits as much as anyone and I complain about them all the time but if you incorporate them in a concept album (like this one and A Prince Among Thieves) I can tolerate them.

yeah, imo the skits on this album actually help the flow...
definitely a contender for album of the year...

He got a single for the album & a video?
-
Heated album. Definitely a contender for the album of the '04...

Ya Jome, if you listen to the album is one sitting, the skits actually add to the album, help tell thhe story like on Disposable Arts.
While this album isnt quite as good as DA, it is very good and definitely a candidate for album of the year. Ace always makes albums that flow from beginning to end, no misplaced tracks and te guests are always on point. Great cd......
its funny, the only time besides the Symphony that Ace eer blew up is when he did his WEST COAST CLASSIC INC RIDE!!! He actually did a couple g funk tracks on that cd, that is originally how i got into his music.....

naw, sum old Wu-skits did that, Outkast's skits on "Aquemini" did partly piece it together too, goin from the title track into "Synthesizer" announcing "West Savannah" etc, and there's interludes that's legendary like the Gangstarr skit after "Royalty" or The Infamous Prelude...but mostly skits rather fuck up the flow of an album than contribute to it (prime example: "A Gangster And A Gentleman"), that's right
anyways, I went to my local cd store (which sucks as for older shit but they usually got new stuff unless it's quite underground and/or not from the east coast) but them muhfuckaz ain't got it >:( . So fuck it, I'ma order that shit now, what I've heard off of it (especially "Good Ol Love") is tight tho

i guess some people don't understand the idea of a concept album...

it's a small minority of albums with skits that can really be labeled 'concept albums'

This story was set in the summer of '95 or '96, right? Did they have plasma televisions back then? I doubt it, Ace wasn't thinking about that was he.
