Title: Is American DV Electronic Lottery dangerous?
Post by: Smoke on August 10, 2004, 03:24:14 AM: There's a newspaper here, in Italy, called "Libero". It's pro-Berlusconi, so basically pro-America. I was reading it today, and there's this amazing article, lol. Do you all know about the "Diversity Visa (DV) Electronic Lottery"? It's also known as the "Green Card Lottery". Well America every single year let 50.000 guys (non americans) became Americans. To do it, you gotta live in a Nation where there are less than 50.000 immigrants (to the States) per year, and compile an online quiz with name, surname, photo, etc. Now the funny thing is that every year USA receives 9.5 millions of requests from Nations where they dont even have the register of births, so you can fake it. Well, "Libero" has compiled as a provocation a request to make Osama Bin Laden (with the photo, date of birth, etc) an American citizen. The request was been accepted. Now Osama Bin Laden is an official member of the lottery.

Any comments?

Obviously not. But that was just a provocation. The dangerous thing is that there are 9.5 millions requests from people who aint even registered in the register of births. A memeber of Al Quaeda can easly fake his name/surname/photo and make 500/1000 online requests. I'm sure he got good chances to finish as a winner. Isnt this lottery thing a lil bit stupid?

maybe they think it'll be easier to get him..

the IRS are cleverer than the FBI + CIA right? :D
