Title: what are .sfv files?

they come with most bootleggs... anyobody tell me what they are?

for the more technical...

the .sfv contains checksums of the other files in the rip.


in english...



u use a utility (i use winsfv)  with the file and the rip, and it checks all the files to make sure they're not corrupt...

so u can tell if the rips fucked up by checking it against the sfv...

its basically a signature for each file.
