Title: Rick James Way

Rick James was from my hometown of Buffalo and they're thinking of naming a streeat after him "Rick James Way" in rememberence of him, the only thing they're debating now is if they are going to name the one street where he played his first gig, or a street in downtown buffalo

Blah.  Why the hell would you hold him up like he's some big hero or town treasure.  I just don't get the deal with him being idolized.

Why not, his influence on music is great...his songs have inspired many....to say he isnt a treasure would be like saying that water is not nessasary to live....
