His last CD was sick. It was one of the most overlooked CD's I've ever heard. This guy works with major west coast stars including Kurupt, Nate Dogg, Warren G, Knoc-Turnal, Xzibit and he gets no attention. He was on the Str8 West Coast Remix produced by Dr. Dre and he works with two of my favorite west coast producers Baby Ree and Damizza. Anyone got any news or anything regarding another album?

Yeah Baby Ree is one hell of a producer ;D

Yeah. ;D
And I wouldn't say Shade Sheist is the most underrrated west coast artist, not by a long shot. There's a couple of guys who've done amazing careers in hip-hop and extremely rarely (if ever) dropped a sub-par song - DJ Quik and Warren G.
-
he nice, but MOST underrated? naw
-
Wow, shade sheist aint actually that good, he has definitely dropped a couple hot songs but hes pretty average otherwise, his best songs were because of guest appearances (Cali Disease, Where i wanna be) or amazing beats (John Doe).......

LMFAO. Shade is mad underrated, "Informal Introduction" is an extremely solid CD.
-
To me Shade is pretty wack, and after a while Damizza's beats drag a bit as well, so no I wouldn't say he's underrated at all.
-
felt some of the bigger songs mentioned above.. didn't feel the album..
i like people with a bit more of a faster paced flow..
-
Shade Sheist is weak compared to many west coast artists if you ask me.
-
ya i think Shade Sheist is just average.. and NOT the most underated
-
I think he aight i luved informal introduction BMF is my fav track but other than dat he is still ok not most underratted i agree he did come across tight on dat st8 westcoast track mind u everyone did
-
am i the only person that didnt like the Straight Westcoast remix? it was like a homemade remix.. the Knoc verse was from an unrelased song... Xzibits verse was from THe Shit and u could tell the other verses were from sumthin else and on Shades part u could hear another beat in the background

I've heard samples of Shade Sheist's "BTHBTW" album and "GTA2" and there is no comparison between the new Shade Sheist style and his "Informal Introduction" style. He is coming with heat lately!
Go check out www.putyourselfout.net if you haven't already.

shade sheist has some really solid production. And he features Nate on two of his biggest songs. So yeadh, i think damn near anybody could've sounded good under these conditions. His flow seemed too lazy and unexciting. If he sped up his flow a bit, it might be tight, but i haven't been impressed yet.

Not a lot of people know about Shade Sheist though. I would say Rass Kass is under rated also but Sheist is still my fav.

same here,
AND got tired of those songs after listening to it a few times
with classics this normally doesnt happen... can hear them all them time - so id say: just average ::)

Shade Shiest def aint the most underrated artists out on the west. Especially since everybody on the west is underratted, except for a couple that are overratted. Off top, I can think of hella artists better than shiest that are underrated: cbo, jayo, e 40, quik, gangsta, san quinn, messy marv, daz, wc, roscoe ................................., shade shiest. I dont know its hard to judge. The production on his album was tight. He was the only westcoast mc to get spins cuz he had power in his pocket. And he still didnt blow. So that should tell u somethin.

Shade is tight, but I wouldn't really call him underrated.

Shade Sheist didn't blow because MCA went under weeks before his album released. This is old news. He and Damizza also proved that they were receiving legitimate spins through legal documents they submitted to the press. Also old news.
-
LOL, Shade is weak as hell. How one could call him the most underrated West Coast artist is beyond my comprehension.

WEST UP, Shade Sheist is wacc and Damizza is a WEST COAST Irv Gotti (making wacc commerical cutz) that cant produce worth shit.
