Post by: Thirteen on August 17, 2004, 09:07:58 PM: i just read in USA today about the future plans for vs. movies. it listed the following:

Freddy vs Jason vs Ash: it said that right now they have a few people writing scripts but they're not sure if they want to do it

Michael Myers vs Pinhead: they have people writing scripts also and they are negiotiating contracts with doug bradley and the guy that plays michael myers

there was another one that i can't remember... have you seen any new info on these?

Post by: Now_Im_Not_Banned on August 18, 2004, 12:28:39 AM: Talks about "Helloween" AKA "Michael Myers vs Pinhead" was cancelled...They had a script and everything, and were about to do it, but fans really didn't like the idea, and Moustapha Akkad announced that he wouldn't be doing it. This happened after he asked fans at a convention if they wanted to see that movie made, and 95% of them seemed to dislike the idea...so it was cancelled at the last minute.

"Freddy vs Jason vs Ash" is still being discussed. They don't know yet whether they're going to do it or not. One can only hope...There is definitely going to be a "Freddy vs Jason 2" though...They just don't know if Ash is going to be in it, but it seems very likely...PeACe

Then again, I never was big on horror movies. I've only seen the first ones in the big movie series - the first Halloween, the first Friday the 13th, the first Freddy movie, the first Evil Dead...

I doubt they would do it; Pinhead isn't as big a name as Myers...I was actually one of the few people who wanted to see it happen, but most likely it won't...USA Today isn't a credible horror source...Nothing has been officially announced ever since Moustapha Akkad said they won't do it.
