Title: Canada is kicking some ass in Baseball
Post by: Suga Foot on August 17, 2004, 09:23:21 PM: they're 3-0 right now. They've outscored their opponents 23-3. And they're doing it without Mourneau or Francis. :D

We're a Winter Olympics Country, everyone knows that :P

All our medals come from rowing and track and field. We'll get about 4-5 medals the next two days ;D. If we had 250 million ppl living in Canada, and our Government actually gave a rats ass about the Olympics, we'd be at the top ;D

People in the US are pissed off too tho, their baseball team didn't even make it to the olympics, and I won't bring up the whole basketball thing :-\

WE SUCK

but seriousily, we gotta put more money into the funding of the athletes. Half em our poorer than me, and i jsut graded from highschool with a part time job ;D

honestly people in the US could care less about olympic baseball, and people in the US don't expect the US basketball team to win anything ....they got a sorry team

I asked the question bcoz New Zealand isn't even in the competition, we're the current world champs, we've been champs for 4x in a row. Even our women's team doesn't feature in this years comp, they're not as strong as the men's team, but possible medal contenders.

i wrote somewhere up in the post that we suck at the olympics...no ones surprised at that :)..been happening for 100 years.
