Title: About Dilated Peoples "Caffeine"
Post by: Suga Foot on August 18, 2004, 10:22:23 PM
I just now got this album, and on my first listen, I realized something: the beat for "Caffeine" should have gone to Swollen Members.  It's would fit them perfectly.  Nucleus has been dropping bombs lately tho.  This song is dope.

Good call Nima - got into Battle Axe earlier this year but no one seems to know 'em here, other than Adon. Nice to have at least someone spreading the word :)

Battle Axe is the shit, the last Swollen Members album was tight, the last Abstract Rude album was tight too, but I was disappointed with the Buc Fifty release (nothing against his previous one), and the Oddities album was average at best. Did anybody of you already checked the new "Lyrics Of Fury III"? I think there were supposed to be three new/unreleased tracks on it (Swollen Members, Son Doobie, Prevail). I'm also looking forward to the new Son Doobie ("Doobie Deluxe"), and the new Nucleus release ("The Chosen Few").

Sorry for changing the subject of the thread... :P
