Title: Anybody else think the overdubs fucked up "Give it up" on 213's newest?
Post by: Woodrow on August 21, 2004, 12:22:06 PM: Man, I was just listening to "Give it up" aka Lonely Girl and those overdubs with the cheesy ass orchestra just fucked up the song instead of making it sound better. The song off the bootleg was hot as shit, but this new one is a bit weaker IMO because of those fucked up sounds they threw over the beat. You can tell it's a shoddy job and it sounds like they shouldn't even be there. Anybody else agree?? (Still a tight track tho)

Yeah I agree, I thought the retail version of Lonely Girl was weaker, those little sounds and the whole orchestra fucked it up
