In the ever-changing landscape of Hiphop, only a few things remain a constant; one of them being our unwavering love for the underdog. And through a turbulent roller-coaster ride of personal trials, label changes and a well-publicized beef with pop music’s top “Shady” sensation, Royce Da 5’9 has proven that he is not only of Hiphop’s most talented emcees, but that he is a true survivor.
Shattering expectations for his massively bootlegged 2002 debut, Rock City (Sony Records) which propelled by his classic DJ Premier produced “Boom” went on to sell nearly 100,000 copies. Royce’s 2004 sophomore effort, Death Is Certain, has sold almost 50,000 copies.
Royce Da 5’9” returns on 10-26-04 with his forthcoming M.I.C. endeavor which will be released in conjunction with Sure Shot Recordings. M.I.C. will offer the first official glimpses of Royce’s heavily anticipated collaborative union with rising-producer Nottz (Ghostface, G-Unit, Lloyd Banks) and also includes production from Reef aka Red Spyda (50 Cent, G-Unit).
The Final track listing for M.I.C. is as follows:
1. Intro
2. Nickel (produced by Nottz)
3. Jump (produced by Nottz)
4. Buzz
5. Stand Up f/Tre Lil, Cutty Mack & Billy Nix

got alot of shit i've already heard on there...well at least 3 or 4 tracks...i'm not a big fan of the dudes he has featured on there, wish he'd keep it like death is certain and have pretty much none but himself, peace.
-
damn ... tight :o
when I first saw this topic, I thought some homo brought an old-ass topic about death is certain up again. but then... :o
NEW ALBUM!!! just half a year after another one.. when was the last time someone did that? Hail the King!
-
looks nice..Red Spyda!
-
still would like to see him fuckin do a track with em.
-
his voice is tight, and I hope this one is as tight as his other one...I was really feelin death is certain, that "hip-hop" track is :o
-
Looks tight as hell !! You can expect the nottz/royce album early in 2005 ( check out royce.rapworlds.com )
-
this album should be tite, but i think he should have 1 or 2 bigger guests on it, i wanna hear him and Ghost do a track... 8)
-
looks nice
-
dope
-
is he still beefing with eminem?
-
I'm not into Tre Lil and Cutty Mack and if he could get sumbody bigger it'd also push sales. still, could be dope, i hope there's not as much 6 July production on it as on DIC cause i wasn't really feelin that
-
a lot of those songs are old
-
i gotta peep death is certain
-
^^
Yes you do.
Hope this turns out as good as DIC. Not sure how those guests will come off though, we'll see. But if Royce's track record is something to provide insight, this should be good.
-
will be getting this for sure.
-
this is real good news. Did't see this coming though, but this is some excellent news. Hope Royce can match "Death is Certain" with this release
