They're red here (Vancouver), but I know they're Green in the states. What about you Europe folks?
Green actually makes more sense to me.

Washington state? Nah man, it's home to one of the greatest port cities in the world. Seattle. The San Juan Islands are also REAL fun if you're into sailing. The whole Vancouver/portland area is pretty cool too.

When you say exit signs, do you mean the ones you get off the freeway with??? Cuz those are green in So. Cali and all over the us, but for signs that say "Exit" like at stores, those are usually red

They're usually Green in Los Angeles...Don't really pay too much attention though.

In L.A. the text is Green...The frame is usually silver/white.

In Norway we have several types, don't really think there's a set standard for exit-signs.
And often a pic of a man running towards a door.. lol

the majority of times they are green.......if you see a red one it usually means its an emergency exit only.....so that answers your question if there is both colors sometimes......but yeah red and green are common

Over here they are brown with black letters. Sometimes they're a little bit hard to see.

theres no standard like with road signs..

Yeah, some supermarkets have "OUT -->>" signs into the "misc/etc." section some times.. or no sign at all. ;D
