JOYSTICK.
video is gonna be shot in a few weeks...
-
lol this song came on the radio the second i started reading this topic. i guess it could blow up with a video, and that could boost their sales.
-
they play joysticc like crazy in LA, and they play Groupie Love a lot also
-
Joystick isnt a bad choice, they should probably go with Twist Ya Body next.....................too bad they went with Groupie Luv first, dope song but wack beat kind of.......
-
:odam I only like nates hook on that song.
it aint that tight theres much better songs to go wid for a second single if u ask me.
:-\
-
Best song on the album. A strictly Warren G and Nate Dogg track, though. Snoop only has the little talking part at the end but no verses. He might have to come up with a verse for when they shoot a video.
-
Bad single choice. This is a novelty song, its more for comedy than music, much like Westside Connection's second single "So Many Rappers In Love," and that single destroyed their sales and promotion. I think they should go with "Absolutely" or "Twist Yo Body" next, they both are dope songs with commercial appeal.

I agree that its one of the best songs on the CD, but I think people who hear it on the radio won't go out and buy the CD because of it. Like I said before, its more of a comedy song, and people buy shit because they wanna hear music.

GREAT DECISION...i cant stop singin this chorus along side nate
best songs
1. twist yo body
2. joystick
3. absolutely
-
Hell yeah. Everybody I know is on that shit, especially LA people. Even my homeboy from NY heard it and was like damn thats tite. Speakin of him, he from NY and he had never heard of 213 and didn't know they had an album...but anyway he was feelin it so I guess this could blow. Especially with a funny ass video.
-
this is a good choice
-
fucc da radio... out here in Boston, I've yet to hear "Groupie Luv". keep supporting the west, cuz no one outside of cali shows any luv.
Man if somebody doesnt play Groupie Luv in a radio actually he's supporting 213.
-
I like that Song!^

I dont know whats so great about Absolutely. everybody on here says its one of the best tracks on the album, I thought it was one of the weaker ones. I guess Joysticc is a good choice for the 2nd single, I can live with that. People are looking for club bangers but theres no real club banger on the album. Most songs have a laid back or r&b/soul feel to it. Id love to see a video for Find A Way though...Im still luvin this track & still surprised that Half Dead produced it

wtf that didnt make sense

Makes sense to me...It isn't 213 if Warren isn't producing.

thats not the point. how do they support 213 by not playing their single? by not playing it?
-
Cause it's a bad song and it gives a negative feedback to 213. Once again, i was joking. That was the explanation of my statement. :P
Obviously if you give a bad track a big exposure, it's still a great promotion for the rapper.

good choise...
-
dope, its good song, not the best on the album tho.

groupie luv's getting alotta play in australia... quite proud
-
That's a good choice...catchy song.
-
I dont really like this choice as the second single at all. The song is kinda cool, but like someone already said, its more of a novelty song. Id rather hear "213 Tha Gangsta Click", "Twist Yo Body" or see a video for "My Dirty Ho"....Warrens verse is crazy in that song. "Joysticc" just doesnt really do it for me. :-\
