Dream/\Keeper:
What do you want? You got a casino, you don’t have to pay taxes, so why you saying you got it harder than everyone else? I want to know!!!
Fine Here It Is:
In the past the white man invade ours land and called us savages//
Now a days it’s a struggle for our culture the pain it ravages//
They took my life, my language, my whole identity was taken//
Now the souls of my grandfathers must be reawaken//
It’s not right to put people on land and call it reservations//
President Bush running the world shit he should try to run a nation//
A nation of people that where beating for speaking their owns words//
Contained in a way that would make us cattle cause we’re kept in herds//
Taught the ways of destruction, instead of learning to respect things great and small//
I’ll stand and fight for my past no matter what hardship befall//
As long as I pass on the stories that were told to me we will remain//
I have nothing to lose but everything and my culture to gain//
M Dogg:
I have visions in my sleep and the spirits haunt me, the killing of my grandfathers the Paiutche//
3 families left and a culture is gone, fuck the Jews what about out muthaphukkin holocast//
We were played as clowns, buffalo soldiers ran us out, from our land spring water was found//
Put it bottles and sold it out and it's all over now, 'cause Arrowhead water was from our sacred ground//
Quit talking about the past is what I'm told now, but my land is gone and polluted now//
Calling us savages, my people never knew how to fight, you perfected it war and committed genocide//
Now tell me why, kill us 'cause your skin is white, purity is in the heart not in the color of your flag//
My grandfathers speak and I listen with love, 'cause when I'm down they pick me back up//
There's a battle to fight and not a single bullet will be shot, do as you might land can't be bought//
God owns the trees we borrow from he, and this is the belief of the old Paiutche//
Spoken in my ear are the stories to maintain, I had to hear though they left me in pain//
The grandfathers told me I can't be slain, 'cause my culture I have to gain//

I'm feelin that a lot, no bullshit. Social conscious rhymes that actually flow together and tell a story. Y'all should go on Def Poetry Jam with that for real. Dope history lesson right there.

I aint never been one to lie. I didn't really feel it either.
I thought Dream's verse was nice but M's had no flow or nothing. It was ok but as Sik said it was more Poetry than lyrics really.

I kind of disagree, although the rhyme scheme was a little weak, the song permeated with the tension and angst that can make for some great rap music. Infact, I've heard that hip-hop is really popular on the reservations now, so we may see a native American hip-hop group blow up on the underground scene.
Anyway, these were tight lyrics, the kind of social commentary I like in music, I think they could work either way, poetry or rap.
