Title: What more impressive

if someone hit .400 which hasnt happend since 1941 when ted williams did it.  Or dimaggios 56 game hittin streak.  The last player to flirt with .400 was tony gwynn when he hit .394.  and the 2nd best hittin streak was pete rose with 44 games.  Jus so people know there have been a handfull of players to hit .400 b4 ted williams did it.  But no one has done it since.  Which do you think is more impressive.  What would your rather see happen.

also i think the reason why this hasn't been reached in a long time is because the pitching game has stepped up tremendously
