Title: Makaveli : Bootlegs??

ok, I was just looking over the internet and I saw that there are various makaveli albums, I think over 10 volumes... Now, are these bootlegs or what are these albums? Is it new material or just old lyrics placed over new beats? I heard one, Makaveli 4 (Vengeance), and it was suprisingly good... Can someone clear this up? Thanx!!
