I was just checking the official site and it now says that, instead of dropping on Nov. 16th as previously reported, it has been delayed until the 23rd. My guess for him or the record execs doing this is simple: too much power house competition coming out on the 16th. Examples include Eminem, Destiny's Child, Britney Spears greatest hits collection, etc. There's very little chance that his sales could compete with any of those names - unless he had some major exposure and a hot first single. Still, I wouldn't be surprised if it got pushed back again as there's no question in my mind that Em is going to run the charts for a while once ''Encore'' drops. It would perhaps make more sense to release ''R&G'' in time for Christmas. I suppose we'll just have to wait and see...

I could give a fuck about this album and when its released.
-
i actually want this to get release, so all of u can see how wack he is, and cry, and i will laugh, and do my dance
-
this shit will drop in december ..Im damn sure about it
-
Don't really care when it drops - I just hope it ain't all wack like his last solo...
-
Yeah, it can't get much worse than ''Paid Tha Cost...''. I have no problem with Snoop hooking up with East Coast producers or rappers or ''updating'' his style, but that album simply had too much of an Eastern influence. The only East Coast collaboration I was feeling on the album was ''The One & Only'' with Premo. Redman's verse on ''From Long Beach 2 Brick City'' was nice, but the song as a whole was poor. Plus, that entire album seemed rushed and badly put together to me.
Snoop needs to take his own advice and step his game up this time.

I guess the new record will be wack for the die hard fans but a solid record for the hiphop fans

Snoop is also providing tracks from his closest producers whom have worked with him over the span of his illustrious career
now do the math

Out of the following, Realistically, what producers do you think will be featured on the album.
DRE (If he aint on this FUCK him and Snoop ever working together again)
Daz
Fred Wreck
Timbo
Warren G
DJ Quick
Meech Wells
Batllecat
The Neptunes
P.Diddy (Expressed interest to work with Snoop on his next album)
Jelly Roll
Kayne West
Premo
DJ Pooh
Scott Storch
Anyone else worried that this album seems to have come outta nowhere? For the Neptunes to "take Snoop back to Chronic era" I would've thought they'd need more than a few months to do it. Thats a bold statement for them to make. Its like a producer saying they want to take Michael Jackson back to the 'Thriller' era and only giving themselves a few months to do it. One second P.Diddy’s gonns produce the album then outa the blue its the Neptunes. 'Drop it like its hot' is a good song IMO but compared to tracks on The Chronic & Doggystyle its crap. Heres hoping someone locked Snoop and the Neptunes in a studio and made them listen to Snoops verses on 'Stranded on Deathrow' and 'Tha Shiznit on repeat till they realised what the world wants from a Snoop album.'

That is highly unlikely.
-
Paid the Cost was a serious backtrack.
Top Dogg and the Last Meal were dope as hell with a West Coast sound, Paid the Cost should have taken him back to the top but it was a mess.
Stoplight
Ballin
Beautiful
Boss Playa
The One and Only
From Long Beach to Brick City
Suited and Booted
Pimp Slap
They were the songs that should have stayed the rest were crap.
