Post by: Don Seer on September 15, 2004, 07:02:34 AM: this is just a quick msg to sound out the members here... depending how things go might run a news post on the site itself.

i've already recruited 2 new people (ya might already know that our boy mr tongue twista aka "gramps" is now on board..).. and SGV has also just found someone else as well. she'll be joining us soon..

we're after some more people for general news posting and whatever else type stuff.. articles? reviews? .. interviews if u can get em.. whatever ya feel.. if you're full of ideas just holla.

newswise.. personally i feel we need someone specifically interested in covering certain areas the Bay, another person to follow news at DPG and Tha Row camps that prob would suit the same person, and someone to pick up Aftermath/Dre/Game affairs as we've slowed down on that kinda stuff lately.. other than that.. if there are other artists, or labels you'd like to focus on drop us a line..

whether updates are done on a story by story basis, or as a weekly roundup, or a combination of both is up to you

we do also need a 'designer' that all the news staff can work with for creating graphics n stuff, and someone who can work with us to finally get a new site layout done. a word of warning though.. i'm fussy as hell.. and if you think i'm bad.. you aint spoken to rud.

And, no, you don't get paid, unless you side hustle. I haven't seen any money from DubCNN, but I've got tickets to shows, V.I.P. passes, Backstage passes, paid Hotels, a chance to be a panel with cats like Mellow Man Ace etc. It pays off.

now I have heard of some of the eastside rappers but i don't get into the eastside much.but I can help what I can,all i gotta do is go to iupui and look up some shit.....................get on the phone make the ball roll

You need 2 do some more explorin when it comes 2 hip-hop,Westcoast aint tha only Rap Scene.And The Roots are a group with a mixed style that confuses me.
